Graham Potter, the manager of the Blues, has said that the Chelsea players were open about the fact that their prior performances had not been up to par.
“They were aware that the standard has dipped a bit, and at this standard, doing something like that can result in punishment.
“This performance was a testament to the players, and my role is only to remind them that they are capable of playing at the level they did today.
“The boys have been great to work with; they’ve been incredibly open, responsible, and honest. They are aware of how to improve, which is excellent from the coach’s perspective.”
Graham Potter praised the players of Chelsea for their “great mentality” and “application” following the victory over AC Milan. For us, the victory was very significant.
“Overall, I can’t complain with a clean sheet, three goals, and fantastic character from the players,” he continued.”
