West Ham United are set to make a £30 million January move: Chelsea player.

West Ham United are reportedly planning a £30 million bid for Chelsea forward Armando Broja.

David Moyes is looking to strengthen his frontline with a new striker to provide competition for Michail Antonio after finalizing the signing of centre-back Nayef Aguerd from Rennes for around £30 million on Monday.

Broja impressed during a season-long loan with the Saints in 2021-22, scoring nine goals in 38 games across all competitions.

Last month, Thomas Tuchel told the media that Broja is part of his pre-season plans, but the Albanian international will allegedly seek assurances about regular first-team football before making a decision about his next move.

According to Sky Sports News, the Hammers have identified Broja as their primary forward target this summer and are set to make an opening offer of around £30 million.

According to the report, West Ham United are eager to move quickly in their pursuit of the 20-year-old, given the uncertainty surrounding Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia’s future.

Broja, who has been linked with moves to Arsenal, Bayern Munich, Dortmund, and Arsenal, has only played one senior game for Chelsea, in March 2020, and is under contract with the West London club until June 2022.
