Todd Boehly reveal major reason for deciding against Pulisic loan move
Chelsea owner Todd Boehly decided against a loan move for Pulisic even though Pulisic spoke to him, Pulisic is understood to be disappointed. The American winger is understood to be disappointed by the decision, and was willing to extend his contract in order to go on loan.
Christian Pulisic explained to the new owners his desire to find a club where he could play more but Todd Boehly blocked any loan move. The 23-Year received offers from Newcastle and Manchester United, but all to no avail.
Todd Boehly explained the decision by saying he blocked the move because he wants squad depth at Chelsea. The team currently has a 25 man squad though Michy batshuayi is expected to leave soon, making it a 24 man squad.
Pulisic would have been allowed to leave Chelsea only if the team completed the signing of another winger, with the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and AC Milan Rafael. The transfer window is now closed so the American would be part of the team as backup to the likes of Aubameyang, Mount and Sterling
