Chelsea have seen their form drop badly since the departure of Thomas Tuchel who was replaced by former Brighton manager, Graham Potter
Despite having started off well, Potter appears to have things at Chelsea gone beyond his control as he is currently rocking one of the poorest form of any Chelsea manager.
Even without been told, looking at the Chelsea team, one could tell that the squad have lacked the spirit to fight and also no winning mentality exists in the squad again.
Injury stroke at the wrong time and that has also added to their flaws but it’s questioned that should Chelsea have every player back in action while still having this same mentality and spirit, will the tables be turned?
According to Thomas Tuchel who is currently out on tour in Kenya, the level of things at Chelsea have gradually for grown worse and only a strong action can turn the situation.
“I am not working now, I decided to take the time off so I can’t say much about Chelsea and how things are going but from the information, I can perceive it’s worse,” Tuchel said.
“They need to change the mentality they have now, they need to be hungry for a win and if they don’t change it anytime soon, I fear that it could even get worse because the League is only getting tougher and tougher.
“Maybe the manager needs to make the players understand that they are all in this together and if necessary he needs to make a tweak to the selections and also try to use the younger boys maybe because they are very hungry to play now and they will fight more.
“I don’t know yet, am still enjoying my holiday,” Tuchel added when asked when he will be returning to management and what club.
Chelsea were kicked out of the cup following 4-0 loss against Manchester City and with them on the 10th position currently, it’s not looking any better any time soon.
