This is a doggy game: Paul Merson predicts a startling outcome for the Crystal Palace vs Chelsea clash.
Former Arsenal midfielder Paul Merson has made a prediction regarding the result of the Blues’ upcoming Premier League game against Crystal Palace. On October 1 at Selhurst Park, he believes Graham Potter will be able to guide Chelsea to victory.
“Potter is a terrific manager and coach, but he required some time to assemble his Brighton team, according to Merson, who was speaking before the game. He might need some time to adjust at Chelsea as well, but this season, he must place in the top four.
“They also have a challenging back-to-back in the Champions League, and if they lose against AC Milan over two legs, they risk being eliminated from the competition.
Since Graham Potter is familiar with Marc Cucurella and there isn’t much to be done there, he continued: “Marc Cucurella will unquestionably play this game. But there’s a problem: how highly does he rate Fofana and Koulibaly? He didn’t bring them in, which is a problem. Despite the fact that I think Chelsea will win, this is a dicey game.”
With three victories from six games, the Blues sit eighth in the Premier League standings right now.
