Breaking news:  The Evening Standard reports Chelsea will now sign Cristiano Ronaldo in January after latest Explosive interview with United.

The Evening Standard reports that Chelsea is now the favorite to sign Ronaldo in January.

According to the Telegraph, Ronaldo was heavily linked to Chelsea last summer, but Thomas Tuchel, an ex-Chelsea manager, prevented the transfer.

With his interview last night, Ronaldo appears to have severed all ties with the Red Devils, which means he will probably join a new team in January.

The following are the main takeaways from the interview:

I don’t have respect for Erik ten Hag, says Ronaldo, who claims United’s head coach doesn’t respect him. I’ve never even heard of him,’ Ronaldo says of Ralf Rangnick, who served as United’s interim coach last season. “He finished his career. Ronaldo responds to Wayne Rooney’s criticism, saying, “I look better than him.”

Ronaldo criticizes the lack of change at United, saying, “Nothing has changed since Ferguson went.”

In 16 games for Man United this season, the 37-year-old has only scored three goals.
