“Take a bow,” “Respect his name” “He’s the reason we don’t lose” – After their star-studded performance against Brentford, Chelsea supporters cause an internet explosion.

Goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga has once again left Chelsea supporters in awe of his recovery after another outstanding performance on Wednesday.

In helping Brentford hold the Blues to a scoreless draw, the 28-year-old made several outstanding saves to maintain his sixth consecutive clean sheet. Kepa has had a generally bad experience at Stamford Bridge since his transfer there from Athletic Bilbao in 2018.

He has only made 11 Premier League appearances in the last two full seasons after making a run of high-profile errors that cost Chelsea games.

Due to an injury and Eduoard Mendy’s drop in performance, Kepa, who continues to be the most expensive goalkeeper in the world, just got the chance to start again.

The Spanish international player continued his great showing against the Bees after winning match-of-the-match honors against Aston Villa. Ivan Toney had multiple scoring opportunities for Brentford, but he was unable to take advantage of any of them as Kepa earned his team a draw in the west London derby.

After the game, supporters praised the frequently criticized goalkeeper’s performance on Twitter as Graham Potter’s squad lost momentum in the race for fourth place:

@ConnCFC: Chalobah needs to be treated with respect, Without him and Kepa, Chelsea wouldn’t have kept a clean sheet today.

@CFCDUBois: We didn’t lose because of Kepa and his fiance. I have been saying it for the past few months, but Pulisic MUST start.

@CFCDUBois: Take a bow, Na Kepa fiance

@eli helenek: Kepa, who is now in outstanding form, made another amazing save.

@LondonBluePod: For the first time in his Chelsea career, Kepa Arrizabalaga has kept 5 consecutive clean sheets.
