Breaking: Potter set to reunite with ex-Brighton player at Chelsea – He’s scored 5 goals already this season.

According to Greene Bailey of 90min, Chelsea is interested in signing Leandro Trossard, a star for Brighton & Hove Albion, next summer.

Graham Potter is aiming to sign the Belgian winger because he worked with him and still thinks highly of him.

Trossard’s contract with Brighton expires in the summer of 2019, however they have the option to extend it.

Chelsea is prepared to make a strong effort to sign him, though, and might go a long way toward doing so if Potter thinks it’s necessary.

Newcastle United is a rival to the Blues for the winger, who has had a strong start to the Premier League season with Brighton.

Trossard, who also scored a hat-trick at Anfield against Liverpool earlier this season, has 5 goals and 2 assists in 9 appearances.
