If we don’t wake up, we won’t make top four because of Chelsea: An ex-Liverpool player issues a warning to Klopp as the Blues get ready to sign two players in January

If we don’t wake up, we won’t make top four because of Chelsea: An ex-Liverpool player issues a warning to Klopp as the Blues get ready to sign two players in January.

Former Liverpool defender Jose Enrique has urged the Reds to pay attention to the transfer market because Chelsea is taking its business seriously.

The Spaniard responded to the rumor that the Blues were eyeing a double move for RB Leipzig teammates Christopher Nkunku and Josko Gvardiol.

According to rumors, Graham Potter’s group is vying for Gvardiol’s services alongside Inter Milan and Tottenham Hotspur.

A pre-contract agreement between the Blues and Nkunku, according to rumours, will bring the French striker to Stamford Bridge.

Nkunku’s pre-contract agreement calls for him to join the team in the summer, thus the Spaniard might be referring to the upcoming campaign.

Gvardiol might arrive in January, but Leipzig and the Blues have not finalized an agreement.

Liverpool’s poor start to the season has left them in ninth place after just two victories in seven league games.

The west Londoners, who have won four of their last seven league games, are currently in fifth place, which might mean a top-four finisher matchup between the Reds and Blues.
