Hero! Graham Potter described how a Chelsea player played a key game while suffering from a severe cold.

In preparation for Saturday’s Premier League match against Wolves, Chelsea manager Graham Potter heavily rotated his team.

Potter was criticized for constantly changing his team when the starting lineup was made public, although Chelsea triumphed 3-0 as a result.

Potter admitted that the rotation was required after the game. Potter even admitted that Thiago Silva, a center defender for Chelsea, had a severe cold when he played the key match against AC Milan and needed to recover.

“Thiago Silva has had a heavy cold and played for Milan, but obviously two days is incredibly short for him to recuperate, so we didn’t really want to take the chance there,” said Potter.

Ben Chilwell is returning from an ACL injury and has two games in a week. You shouldn’t put him out, especially in light of the presence of Marc Cucurella.

“We had to give Reece James extra time since he had a dead leg that wasn’t totally recovered yesterday.

Obviously, Wesley ‘Fofana’ was missed.

Mateo Kovacic will play three games in a row again. We can use Jorgi and Ruben as he has been recovering from a knee issue.

Simply put, Raheem Sterling had a lot of football.

His burden is enormous. We reasoned that having a brother would benefit him and perhaps even aid us in winning the game.
