Graham Potter’s offer to trade a star for Tottenham Hotspur in exchange for a Chelsea star
Graham Potter, the manager of Chelsea, has proposed trading Yves Bissouma of Tottenham Hotspur for Chelsea star Hakim Ziyech of Chelsea.
For the January transfer window, Potter is eager to add a central midfielder to his squad.
Tottenham Hotspur reportedly gave Chelsea no encouragement when Chelsea enquired about Bissouma, according to The Telegraph.
Bissouma is not wanted to be sold by Tottenham Hotspur this month, and the club has not yet expressed interest in a deal that would see Ziyech move in the other direction.
Before transferring to Tottenham Hotspur last summer, Bissouma played for Potter’s Brighton team. Potter, who adores the midfielder, will be thrilled to see him again at Chelsea.
Since his summer transfer to Tottenham Hotspur, Bissouma has struggled to maintain a regular spot.
Although Chelsea has offered to let Ziyech join Spurs, Tottenham has so far rebuffed their inquiries and is adamant that Bissouma won’t be let to transfer to Stamford Bridge in January.
