Former Chelsea captain John Terry encourages a Tottenham striker to leave the club in order for him to win a trophy

We have had more opportunities to hear from Chelsea icon John Terry thanks to this world cup, which has so far been one of its better aspects.

We can now read and hear insightful commentary from our former club captain and some of the greatest Blues players ever thanks to belN Sports’ selection of the former defender to be a commentator on their world cup coverage.

And it’s much better when he tosses in a Tottenham dig as well!

According to The Metro today, Terry discussed Harry Kane in a recent critique of the show.

Terry thinks Kane has to move on from Tottenham and join a larger team if he truly wants to win some football trophies.

Harry Kane certainly isn’t going to win trophies at Tottenham, according to Terry, who added: “I think he has dreams to go and win trophies. Let’s be honest; He’s obviously not. Let’s not lie to ourselves.

He is among the world’s top strikers. He desires to receive awards. He desires to join the largest and greatest teams.

Spurs are not that, and they will not grant his request. He desires to end his career with some honors.

In response to the question of whether Kane might join a team of Real Madrid’s caliber, Stamford Bridge great Terry said, “I could see it.”

His current Spurs deal expires in 2024.
