Everything Chelsea manager Graham Potter said about Edouard Mendy’s return.

Despite being in the squad, Graham Potter cannot confirm whether Edouard Mendy will start against AC Milan.

Chelsea manager Graham Potter has confirmed that goalkeeper Edouard Mendy will be available for the match against AC Milan.

Due to a knee injury, the Senegal international has missed the team’s last three games, but he has been training at Cobham since last week.

Mendy was having a difficult run in the post prior to the injury, and there were fears that he would lose his spot on the team.

In his absence, however, Kepa Arrizabalaga has won some fans, and it will be interesting to see if the Spaniard retains his spot or if Mendy replaces him.

The Blues boss said when asked about the availability of Edouard Mendy: “Eddie [Mendy] has been training with the team in the last few days and has made good progress.

“He’ll be in the squad.”
