England names its final World Cup roster, leaving Hudson-Odoi and Nketiah out

Garrett Southgate, the coach of Great Britain, has announced his final 26-man squad for the upcoming FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

James Maddison of Leicester City, Marcus Rashford of Manchester United, Callum Wilson of Newcastle, Kyle Walker of Manchester City, and Ben White of Arsenal were all selected by Southgate.

However, Brentford’s Ivan Toney, West Ham’s Jarrod Bowen, and AC Milan’s Fikayo Tomori pass on a significant opportunity.

Despite recently returning from a two-month absence due to a shoulder injury, Harry Maguire, a focus back for Manchester City, and Kalvin Philips, a midfielder, are both expected to play this season.

Before engaging in combat with the United States and the Caribbean in the Gathering B devices, Britain will launch its 2022 World Cup campaign against Iran.
