World Cup star will receive a £300,000 weekly contract from Chelsea. He will have Chelsea’s second-highest salary.
The Blues are willing to pay Mason Mount £300,000 per week, making him the second-highest paid player at the club, according to The Telegraph.
Along with Romelu Lukaku, who is on loan at Inter Milan, England’s Raheem Sterling is the highest-paid player for Chelsea. Both players are said to make £325,000 each week.
The 23-year-old England international’s current Chelsea deal expires in the summer of 2024, and Mount is anticipated to pick up contract negotiations with Chelsea following the World Cup.
Despite interest from Premier League rivals Liverpool, Mount has spent 17 years at Chelsea and there are currently no signs that he is ready to quit.
