Chelsea set to beat Real Madrid and Barcelona to sign World class NO.9.

The London giants are also on the hunt to recruit Jonathan David during the summer transfer window, joining the likes of Barcelona and Real Madrid as major players in European football. Chelsea has already made a request to speak with the Lille center-forward.

Since moving to Les Dogues from Gent in the summer of 2020, Canada international has been nothing short of fantastic. David has improved significantly since helping Lille win Ligue 1 last season, and he has been one of the few shining lights for the French club during a trying time.

In 29 games across all competitions this season, Jonathan has scored 16 goals, 12 of which have come in Ligue 1. Some of the biggest teams in Europe, such as Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Chelsea, have taken notice of David’s accomplishments and have set their sights on the striker.

Amidst lingering doubts about Aubameyang and Lukaku’s futures, Chelsea may need to look for a center-forward for a third consecutive summer transfer window.

By making an inquiry about the Canadian center-forward, Chelsea has already taken the first step toward signing him. However, the 22-year-old attacker has also had approaches from Barcelona and Tottenham, signaling that the competition to sign the center-forward is becoming more intense.
