Man City defeated Chelsea 2-0 at the Etihad to send them packing from the EFL Cup.

In the first half, the Blues showed promise, and certain players gave decent performances as a whole.

Here’s our analysis of the match:

Hall earned a score of 7.5 for his fearless play and excellent use of his first-team opportunity. Probably needs to be more clinical, but the child has a very promising future.

Cucurella – 7: Had excellent defensive play tonight and maintained cool when handing it off.

Koulibaly received a rating of five because he had a few careless challenges as well as a spectacular last-second one in the first half. Had he jumped in the well, he might have been able to stop the first goal.

Zakaria (score of 6): Needs to improve his passing and play-building, but was highly disruptive for the opponent.

Pulisic, who received a score of 6, missed a few good opportunities to seal the victory in the first half.
