Chelsea owner Todd Boehly has asked Graham Potter to choose between Zaha and Leao

Chelsea owner Todd Boehly has asked Graham Potter to choose between Zaha and Leao.

As the American owner plans to support the English manager in the summer transfer window, Todd Boehly, the chairman and co-owner of Chelsea, has urged Graham Potter to select between an AC Milan or a Crystal Palace winger.

Although Zaha came dangerously close to joining Chelsea last summer, the blues are now considering a potential free transfer for the Ivorian youngster. His present deal is slated to expire in 2023, but he isn’t prepared to sign a new one with Selhurst Park at this time.

Rafael Leáo, a Portuguese forward who is compelled to leave San Siro, recently turned down an offer from AC Milan for a new deal. After disclosing his early aspirations to play for the London club, Chelsea are the front-runners to sign the 23-year-old.

Given the recent performances of Sterling and Pulisic, Chelsea coach Graham Potters will be forced to choose between Zaha and Leáo for a January transfer.

Romelu will likely be permanently sold by Chelsea in the summer, thus they must find a long-term replacement. The African striker Aubameyang is not a long-term option, despite the fact that they acquired him from Barcelona during the summer transfer window.
