Chelsea is ready to finalize a deal for the player who is even better than Blues legend Eden Hazard

The “ideal” January transfer recruit, who is even better than Eden Hazard, has been revealed to Chelsea manager Graham Potter. Following the 2-1 victory against RB Salzburg on Tuesday, which advanced his team to the champions League knockout rounds, the former Brighton coach has had a great start to life at Stamford Bridge since succeeding Thomas Tuchel. He is unbeaten in the nine games he has taken control of.

Raheem Sterling and Christian Pulisic both started as extremely skilled wingbacks in Austria as a result of Potter’s experiments with a variety of shapes and systems. Leandro Trossard is one player who has previously transitioned to a similar role under Potter. Former Manchester United midfielder Paul Parker thinks Trossard would be wise business for Chelsea and predicted that they will contend for the championship the following season.

According to Parker, Chelsea will undoubtedly be a championship contender the following season. It will be his first complete campaign in charge of Chelsea, and given what he accomplished at Brighton, it is safe to predict that Chelsea will get better each week.

“Leandro Trossard should join Chelsea; he would greatly enhance their squad. Graham Potter’s Chelsea would benefit greatly from his energy and quickness. Being a huge admirer of Trossard, I find it incomprehensible that he isn’t on the Belgian national team. He would do far better than Eden Hazard, which is pretty surprising. Any Premier League team would likely want to sign him, in my opinion.

Although Trossard’s contract with Brighton expires at the conclusion of the current campaign, the Seagulls do have the option to extend it for an additional year, which they will probably definitely do. Given that his contract only extends him through 2024, he could still be available for a low price.

The Belgian acknowledged that it would be alluring to follow Potter to Stamford Bridge, but only if he were guaranteed playing time after becoming into a significant player during his time on the South Coast.

Trossard declared in September that it was useless to speculate about him following him because “our coach has already departed for Chelsea.” “I’d want to go if the chance presents itself. However, I would rather to play than relax on the couch.

With six goals in 12 games so far this season, Trossard has excelled in the Premier League. He also has a tendency for scoring away to the traditional top-six teams, having done so at Manchester City and with a hat-trick at Anfield. He most certainly won’t start for Martinez’s team at the world cup, though.

As part of a front three with Kevin De Bruyne and Michy Batshuayi, Hazard started both of Belgium’s Nations League games in September against Wales and Holland, leaving Trossard on the bench. However, the former Blues striker is anticipated to be replaced by Romelu Lukaku for the tournament this winter.
