Chelsea is prepared to spend extravagantly to acquire an England international valued at €90 million.

Chelsea is attempting to acquire Harry Kane from Tottenham in a sensational Lukaku-for-Kane trade. After a lackluster return to the London club, Romelu was loaned out to Inter Milan during the summer transfer window.

The Belgian international’s chance of returning to Chelsea and contributing significantly to the team appears slim, so a permanent departure is probably best for all parties. The Belgian striker will be used by the Blues in a trade to add an England international.

The likelihood of Harry leaving Tottenham seems remote, but he hasn’t signed a new deal and may be growing impatient with the lack of championships his boyhood team has won. Graham Potter’s Blues team could develop into a really intriguing endeavor if he can get them to sing.

Romelu could be used as a lure to entice Spurs, especially since Antonio Conte previously collaborated with Lukaku while at Inter Milan. The 29-year-old striker staying would be ideal for Tottenham, but if he insists on leaving, adding the Belgian to the deal might be enticing.

While talks over a new contract have started, there is still no guarantee that one will be reached before the English center-current forward’s contract expires in the summer of 2024.

Since making his Tottenham debut during the 2013–14 season, the Englishman has consistently performed at the highest level, scoring 254 goals in 395 games for the Spurs in all competitions.
