Chelsea is now in advanced negotiations to sign Ligue 1 right-back in January

GOOD NEWS!: Chelsea is now in advanced negotiations to sign Ligue 1 right-back in January.

After an underwhelming first season in Paris, Achraf Hakimi may be facing an unclear future at PSG. It has made Chelsea aware that the Premier League powerhouses are thinking about signing the Moroccan international during the forthcoming summer transfer window.

Achraf was wanted by the Blues last summer while he was still at Inter Milan. But the deal fell through, and the African defender ultimately decided to travel to Ligue 1 and sign with the Parisians in order to match up with attacking superstars like Mbappe, Messi, and Neymar as well as his former Real Madrid teammate Ramos.

The decision has not quite worked out as planned a year later. Despite having four goals and six assists, Hakimi has fallen short of expectations, frequently finding it difficult to have the desired influence on the right wing, particularly in crucial matches.

The Moroccan defender is one of many footballers who might search for a way out of the Parisians at the conclusion of the season, despite the fact that the atmosphere in the Parisians camp has much improved since Kylian Mbappe’s decision to reject Real Madrid.

Additionally, it seems that the Blues are more than eager to give him a means of leaving the team and a stage on which to display his abilities in the Premier League. The uncertainty surrounding the futures of Reece James and Azpilicueta is what initially piqued the Blues’ interest in the African defender.
