Chelsea is issued a warning as the Premier League announces a rule change.

The Premier League has announced a change to the rule regarding violent or antisocial behavior by football fans at stadiums.

On Wednesday, all 20 clubs in the league met to discuss a variety of issues, including fan disorder.

Chelsea fans, as well as fans of other Premier League clubs, have fallen short in this regard

A statement from the Premier League read, “At a Premier League Shareholders’ Meeting today, clubs unanimously agreed to introduce minimum-length bans for supporters who take part in anti-social and criminal behaviours at League stadiums.

“Fans caught carrying or activating pyrotechnics or smoke bombs, or entering the pitch without permission, will receive an automatic club ban with a minimum term of one year.

“These bans could also be extended to accompanying parents or guardians of children who take part in such activities.

The Premier League said in a statement, “At today’s Premier League Shareholders’ Meeting, clubs unanimously agreed to introduce minimum-length bans for supporters who engage in anti-social and criminal behavior at League stadiums.”

“Fans caught with pyrotechnics or smoke bombs, or entering the pitch without permission, will face an automatic club ban.”
