Chelsea have reportedly been monitoring Club Athletico Paranaense forward Victor Roque for some time.
According to Ge Globo, Todd Boehly’s scouts have tracked and taken note of the 17-year-old in the past few months.
The original Ronaldo has already claimed the young Brazilian is going to ‘fly so high’.
The teenager only made his Athletico debut last term, having joined the Brazilian side for a club-record £3m.
He played 36 times for Furacao, scoring seven times and providing three assists.
His four goal contributions helped the side reach the final of the Copa Libertadores, where they lost 1-0 to Flamengo and former Chelsea defender David Luiz.
Vitor Roque on the radar of Chelsea
Perhaps Luiz had a good word to say about Stamford Bridge when the pair shook hands at the end of the game.
The frizzy-haired centre-back spent several, trophy laden seasons in South West London, and would surely recommend the Blues to any of his fellow Brazilian compatriots.
Thiago Silva, Willian, Oscar and Alex amongst others would likely say the same.
Chelsea were originally in the market for another youthful samba star, but may turn their attentions to Roque instead.
Boehly apparently pushed hard to try and sign Endrick from Palmeiras, yet was beaten by Real Madrid in the race for his signature.
Endrick will move to Spain in a deal worth £52m, just over half what Athletico are seemingly asking for their own Brazilian prodigy.
Ge Globo claim Roque has a £87m price tag on his head.
He would be the most expensive teenager in history if Chelsea decided to buy the exciting attacker.
