Ben Jacobs reveals Todd Boehly is on the verge of signing Tottenham striker for next summer

In a video posted to The Football Terrace YouTube channel, Jacobs discussed a potential transfer for the Tottenham striker in 2023 and stated:

“We are aware that Manchester City expressed interest a few seasons ago. Right now, Chelsea poses the Premier League threat that is most likely. Without a doubt, they’ll look at Harry Kane.

Boehly, the new owner of the Blues, has been eager to spend big money to make a statement at Stamford Bridge. Jacobs clarified that by stating:

“Todd Boehly is very eager to show Chelsea can sign seasoned Premier League players, particularly those who are attack-minded. They want to bring in a star player from the Premier League who can contribute right away. As an example, consider how helpful Gabriel Jesus has been to Arsenal.

“Kane would be able to transition quickly, just like Jesus was just able to do.”

In nine league games this year, Kane has eight goals to his credit. Rio Ferdinand commended him and said that Erling Haaland’s brilliance is making people ignore his form.

“No one is discussing it. We would be saying things like, “Oh, he’s the best number nine in the world, look at the stats,” if Haaland weren’t present. He claimed on his YouTube channel that Haaland is being neglected since he is outperforming everyone.

Chelsea is doing better with their new manager.

Under former manager Thomas Tuchel, the Blues got off to a sluggish start to the current campaign. After they suffered a 1-0 defeat to Dynamo Zagreb in the Champions League in September, he was fired.

Graham Potter, who has guided the Blues to four victories and one draw in five games, took over as the team’s head coach after the German. This includes two victories over AC Milan.

This weekend’s league matchup between the Blues and Aston Villa is their next game. N’Golo Kante, Reece James, and Wesley Fofana won’t be available to them.
