What a performance from Chelsea as the Blues prevail after Conor Gallagher’s injury-time goal.

Conor, however, used his goal to send Graham Potter, the new Chelsea manager, a huge message after the game.

According to Conor Gallagher, who scored the game-winning goal and his first goal for Chelsea after coming on as a substitute, the moment was really special. In the stars, it was predetermined.

“I’m really thrilled to have scored my first goal, regrettably against Palace.

“I appreciate the entire club and the fans – even today with the reception they gave me. Everyone knows how much I enjoyed it here [at Palace],” he said.

“I’m hoping I can gain some confidence in the goal and continue.

“Whether I start the game or come off the bench, I want to give it my all for him [manager Graham Potter] and be there whenever he needs me.

Gallagher said, “Obviously, I want to start, and I need to prove to him that I’m capable.”

After such a spectacular cameo at Palace, it sounds like Gallagher plans to keep working hard and supporting Chelsea.

The midfielder, however, intends to start games for Chelsea going forward.
