GOOD NEWS: A player who’s regarded as the Maldini of Croatia has accepted to join Chelsea rather than Tottenham.

Alasdair Gold has been talking about Josko Gvardiol on his YouTube channel following intense summer interest from Tottenham.

Following intense summer interest from Tottenham, Alasdair Gold has been talking about Josko Gvardiol on his YouTube channel.

Over the past two years, the young Croatian defender has become one of the most sought-after players in the world, and Spurs attempted to enter the race last summer.

When Spurs were desperately trying to find a new left-sided center-back, Gvardiol was widely regarded as their top target. Unfortunately for the north London club, however, a deal could not be reached.

Despite Tottenham’s continued pursuit of a player in his position and the fact that many clubs are already making plans for the upcoming summer transfer window, Gold brought up Gvardiol. Unfortunately for Spurs fans, it appears that the RB Leipzig star will not be joining their club.

Instead, Gvardiol is likely to join Chelsea, according to Gold, who notes that the Blues’ interest has been widely publicized.

Gold talked about the possible places Gvardiol might go.

“I’m curious to find out. I don’t believe a transfer in January is at all likely, but I’m curious about what’s going on with Alessandro Bastoni at Inter. He was one of their top two center back targets in the summer, along with Gvardiol, but they were completely outbid on him and neither he nor they wanted to leave. He’s also being heavily eyed by City and Chelsea, but Gold predicted that he might end up at Chelsea.

Sincerity dictates that Gvardiol would be better off moving to Chelsea right now.

The Blues, who are extremely wealthy and consistent contenders for the top prizes, are in desperate need of a new player in that position.

Currently, Marc Cucurella is filling in there, but the experiment isn’t quite working out. As a result, Chelsea needs a new defender to fit into their back five so that Cucurella can move to the wing-back position.

Even though it would be ideal for Gvardiol to sign with Spurs, a transfer to Stamford Bridge would make much more sense.
