A new return date has been set for Reece James following his injury set back — it’s no longer when we expected.

After the World Cup, Reece James will be completely fine to play for Chelsea, according to Givemesport.

According to reports, the Englishman has fully healed and will be fit to start for Chelsea against Bournemouth on December 27 in their first Premier League match following the break.

James came so close to reaching England’s World Cup roster, but Gareth Southgate decided against taking a chance and pulled him out at the last minute.

Since suffering an injury playing against AC Milan last month, the 22-year-old has been terribly missed by Chelsea.
