A 25-goal scorer blasts Antonio Conte for deceiving him at Chelsea as a €112 million man discusses Chelsea’s interest

A 25-goal scorer blasts Antonio Conte for deceiving him at Chelsea as a €112 million man discusses Chelsea’s interest.

Chelsea paid Marseille £33 million in the summer of 2016 to acquire Michy Batshuayi.

When Batshuayi joined Stamford Bridge, there were high expectations for him. He ended up scoring 25 goals in 77 games across all competitions.

He spent the most of his Chelsea career on loan, playing for teams like Dortmund, Valencia, Crystal Palace, and Besiktas.

The moment when Batshuayi was brought on and the goal he scored to give Chelsea the Premier League title in the 2016–17 season were the pinnacle of his time at Chelsea.

Batshuayi has now acknowledged that he was tricked by previous Chelsea manager Antonio Conte, who promised to use him as Diego Costa’s backup striker but never did.

“Conte was constantly contradicting himself,” Batshuayi told Sport.

Conte frequently contradicted himself, according to Batshuayi, who spoke with Sport.

“Let’s start with my entrance. He called and told me about his project. He wanted me to join Diego Costa in a two-man front line.

“Did I really think that? Naturally, given that Conte has played his entire career with two attackers. except when I’m with you in Chelsea.

“I don’t get it. The fact is, I’ve been duped much too frequently.

De Jong finally discusses Chelsea’s interest.

During the summer transfer season, Chelsea was interested in signing De Jong, but the Holland international chose to stay at Barcelona.

De Jong discussed his decision to stay at Barcelona with NOS while on international duty with the Netherlands. He said: “I had already decided that I wanted to stay in May.

So I maintained my composure. I feel at home in the club now. I’ve never seen a difference with my teammates.

In a press conference, he continued, “I didn’t start the Champions League match against Bayern. You desire to engage in significant gaming.

“I do sense it when I don’t play as much. Not really in terms of the technical aspect because you still know how to play football, but more in terms of the physical aspect.”

De Jong has only started four of Barca’s eight games this season in all competitions, and he is obviously clearly upset with his limited playing time.
