The £77 million star has openly stated that he will consider a January move to Chelsea in January transfer window move.

Graham Potter has signed a five-year contract with Chelsea after the club decided to fire German manager Thomas Tuchel following an indifferent start to the new season.

I’m content in Leipzig; I still have a lot to learn and work on myself.

‘I have people who deal with it; I didn’t consider transferring.’ We’ll see how things go in the winter.

‘I feel great, and I’m in good health.’ Due to rehabilitation, I was a little behind at the start of the season.

‘Now I’m waiting for the opportunity and minutes, and I’m trying to make the best of them.’

Owner Todd Boehly is said to have assured the former Brighton manager that he will be given plenty of time to implement his plans for the role.

According to Bild, Potter already has one eye on the January transfer window, with the Blues expected to reignite their interest in Gvardiol at the turn of the year.

Gvardiol is widely regarded as one of Europe’s most promising young defenders and is contracted to Leipzig until 2027.

Chelsea FC are said to be ready to renew their efforts to sign the defender, for whom they reportedly offered £77 million towards the end of the summer transfer window – despite reports that he has been sold.
